Challenge

Hard-to-navigate student experience outside of the classroom

The Wharton School has cutting-edge programs and curricula, but was relying too heavily on email to try and engage with students–a strategy that was not resonating. They needed to find a way to deliver a more personalized digital experience to their students in order to boost satisfaction levels and match the standards they were putting out in the classroom.

 

Solution

Leverage Community Cloud, Lightning components and workshops

The Wharton School implemented a Salesforce community that would help the school achieve their Connected Campus Vision. 7Summits conducted highly interactive workshops that gave them an intimate knowledge of what students wanted, then leveraged our Student Success Accelerator Lightning Bolt to create a more student-centered experience.

The new community successfully deepens student engagement with peers, courses, staff and the school. It remedies Wharton’s primary challenge of enhancing UX beyond the classroom. Additionally, it provides personalized roadmaps to students, simplifies access to important resources, organizes news and alerts and enables a much more active student body.
