These dated tactics create more obstacles than opportunities, hinder or outright discourage transparency and inter-departmental collaboration, and ultimately prevent employees from feeling engaged, invested, and connected.

An engaged workforce is more invested, more productive, and more profitable. In fact, in their 2016 Q12 Meta-Analysis Report, Gallup shared that companies with engaged workers see a profitability increase of 21%. In order to engage your employees, you need to give them an unbelievable employee experience. And the first step toward doing that is listening to what they require of their workplace.
