Thermo Fisher is the world leader in serving science, with revenues of $17 billion and approximately 50,000 employees in 50 countries. Thermo Fisher Scientific launched an initiative to redesign and upgrade their Ion Community, an interactive online resource where users can share and exchange ideas and projects, and stay up to date with latest products. The company wanted to update their online community to improve user experience and to transform it into a more useful marketing and customer communication tool.

Solution & Results

Thermo Fisher engaged 7Summits to redesign and upgrade their current community using Jive Software. The new community transforms the customer experience through an enhanced user experience and easier access to technical resources. The community also acts as a useful marketing and communications tool – customers can now see news, events, featured stories, and stay connected with their peers. Within the newly redesigned community, users are more engaged than ever before.
