Milwaukee School of Engineering was looking for ways to transform their admissions experience to perform better by increasing admissions and connecting better with a largely “social media generation”.
7Summits worked with MSOE to develop a strategy to minimize the friction in the admissions and application experience, and build more preference and affinity for MSOE.
The MSOE Bridge represents this vision by delivering both a redesigned marketing experience, and a community where prospective students can connect with students, faculty, and alumni to explore more about MSOE on a personal level. The community also provides a dashboard of a prospect’s earned badges, application status, to-dos which helps create transparency and loyalty. 7Summits also streamlined the application process and forms to reduce application time by half.
By engaging students from the very start, MSOE is able to build early relationships with candidates while instantly allowing them to become familiar with the campus environment. Insights to various programs and campus culture ensure compatibility between candidates and the university. The Bridge community brings parents and students within a few clicks away from a knowledgeable team of counselors and advisors. Together, these rich interactions encourage students to complete the admissions process and, in turn, increase MSOE’s conversion rate during the application stage.
