7Summits is a Salesforce Premier-level Consulting Partner, a two-time recipient of Salesforce Venture funding, and is recognized by industry analysts and observers as a standout digital solutions provider.
The Software Engineer / Salesforce Developer role is a critical part of the 7Summits delivery model, working within the Product Management organization to deliver highly functional, innovative Salesforce applications for Community Cloud and Lightning Experience use cases. The Software Engineer will work very closely with 7Summits’ Product Manager and Product Architect and will report to the VP of Product. Additionally, he or she will collaborate with an extended team of developers, architects, business analysts, and designers, as needed.
The primary function of this role will be the design and development of flexible, configurable client applications built on the Salesforce platform, to be delivered as part of services engagements or via Appexchange. However, the role will also entail a number of other Product Management responsibilities, such as packaging, deployment/change management, code reviews, technical documentation, and more.
This is an extremely unique role in the Salesforce ecosystem, as it provides an opportunity to build cutting-edge applications with a consulting partner (vs. a dedicated product company). As a result, the role will work on applications of different sizes, for different use cases, and in different industries. Directly contribute to apps that will be visible to the entire world via Salesforce’s app store, Appexchange.
All applications will be built with Lightning Web Components, Apex, or both. The ideal candidate will understand various aspects of building a client-facing product and will have a “product-minded” approach to design and development. Additionally, he or she will incorporate thoughtful and intentional user experience and design elements.
Successful individuals will be able to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, utilizing communication and critical thinking skills in combination with their Salesforce platform and technical expertise to drive the success of their projects.
