Consulting Operations and Resources Coordinator (Virtual, All Regions)

Position Overview

Grow with 7Summits and unleash your potential.  Our Consulting Operations Analyst/Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure alignment across the different business competencies, staff assignments, and optimize revenue recognition.  This is a key role working directly with the Director of Operations, Project Management Office, and Chief Financial Officer to staff teams within our rapidly growing Salesforce consulting practice. Responsibilities 

Key responsibilities that this role is expected to effectively demonstrate are as follows:

  • Daily collaboration with Director of Operations to assist in enabling revenue forecasting realization and invoicing
  • Management and configuration of 7Summits’ FinancialForce (Professional Services Automation) and Salesforce systems 
  • Training of new employees on Time Entry and Expense reporting, and approval of timecards in conjunction with Accounting team
  • Support of all staffing activities for organization, including detailed management of open opportunities, monitoring of individual and team utilization and collaboration with managers to fill openings with available consultants
  • Development of positive relationships with all internal contacts to promote expeditious problem resolution
  • Manage 7Summits’ pool of Subcontractors for both staffing and data governance

Skills and Requirements

Basic skills and requirements needed to perform in this role are as follows:

  • 2+ years Business Operations experience within a Management Consulting or Professional Services organization
  • Strong client service orientation, including the ability to identify and deliver analyses to support the needs of our internal clients
  • The ability to organize large amounts of data and communicate actionable insights to all levels in the business
  • Advanced Excel skills including integration of data from multiple sources and analysis of large datasets
  • Experience with FinancialForce or Salesforce a plus
  • Strong consulting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborative and consultative work style
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
