Accounts Payable Analyst (Milwaukee, WI)

Position Overview    
As the Accounts Payable Analyst at 7Summits, you will be responsible for the execution of pivotal financial responsibilities within the organization. The Accounts Payable Analyst will work closely with 7Summit’s Financial Controller and Accounting Manager, as well as have exposure to vendors and internal departments. The position will operate successfully with a candidate that has the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong level of communication and detail orientation. 

Responsibilities 
Key responsibilities that this role is expected to effectively demonstrate are as follows:

Accounts payable duties: 

  • Setup new suppliers in our Netsuite accounting system
  • Entering A/P invoices
  • Investigate supplier invoice issues as needed
  • Prepare weekly accruals for contractor bills
  • Prepare year-end 1099’s
  • Maintain vendor files and standardize procedures for naming and filing vendor invoices
  • Prepare customer invoices for billable expenses and provide customer receipts where requested
  • Review Employee Expense Reports for accuracy and ensure correct documentation in alignment with the Travel Expense Policy 
  • Monitor credit card activity for the corporate Amazon account and reconcile monthly credit card statements  to receipts 

Office administration duties: 

  • Support package deliveries and shipments and mail distribution
  • Maintain employee monthly parking list
  • Place monthly coffee and snack orders for office
  • Update conference room agendas at the end of each day
  • Maintain key card sign out sheets
  • Communicate any special requests with outside cleaning agency

Skills and Requirements
Basic skills and requirements needed to perform in this role are as follows:

  • Associate’s degree or BA/BS required 
  • 3+ years of professional experience, accounting preferred 
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets required 
  • Experience in Netsuite and/or Salesforce a plus 
  • Must be able to handle confidential information
