Still Think Social Collaboration Won’t Work for You? Just Ask Apple (and Taylor Swift)

Here at 7Summits, we continue to help leading Fortune 500 and Mid-Market companies to unleash their power to create, compete, and innovate in entirely new ways leveraging communities, mass-collaboration, and social elements in business applications.

These principles allow our clients to harness a new power of collaboration to achieve their operational goals by engaging with customers, partners, and employees in powerful ways.

But can this new way of working actually affect your business?

Just ask Taylor Swift. In June, she posted on her Tumblr account expressing her disappointment in an iTunes policy failing to reimburse artists for their work during trial memberships.

That garnered a same-day response from Eddy Cue, the VP of iTunes at Apple.

One of the largest companies in the world changing a major policy on pricing within 12 hours?

YES. I’d say that had an effect!

These conversations are happening about your company too…Are you listening and capitalizing on them?
